On Monday, Mowgli Cubs did a litter pick round the village, ably assisted by Councillor Ros Jump. They have done this in the past but recent Covid restrictions have stopped them.
They had two big bags full. Amongst the rubbish was a screwdriver, a very large brass nut, lots of litter and a broken bike lock!
On the way round they had lots of lovely comments, one from a lady on King Street and another from a man who said we had made his day as he had been in the Scouts years ago.
Well Done Cubs!
